Sumario: Brazil hosted, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, the first South American edition of the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games (Games Rio 2016). Now, one of the country's hosted obligations is the development of an Olympic Education (OE) program. These are educational programs that cover a universe of goals and objectives of the Olympic Movement (MO) in the host cities. We treat, as a context, an institutionalized EO initiative developed by the Organizing Committee of the Rio 2016 Games, called “Transforma”. The program was developed and implemented by the education department of the Games Organizing Committee between 2013 and 2016. Seeking to fill the gap in the continuum of research carried out by Kirst (2019), our investigative objective is to characterize the internal dynamics of this constituent team, where they conceived, managed and implemented the Transformation. Thus, we undertook to identify and discuss interpersonal processes in Transforma, that is, the form and way in which interactions occur - their structure, influence and construction - these individuals in their objectives, goals and problem solutions. According to Boissevain (1987), it is social entrepreneurs, in a dynamic context, who organize themselves and create coalitions so that their collective and individual objectives and goals are achieved. The universe researched is justified because it is the largest - both in territorial dimensions and also in terms of participating public - EO project in Brazil. That said, it consists of qualitative research, ex-post facto, with a case study design. The sample includes subjects who are members of the Rio 2016 Games education team. The time frame is from 2013 to 2016, as this was the duration of the program. Data was collected through ‘elite’ interviews. In short, the data suggest clues of a significant relationship between the team's subjects and the program's goals and objectives. We conclude that the team is classified as a quasi-group and Vanderson Berbat is configured as the (ego) of this quasi-group. In effect, the data points to the constituent team as a focal point and singular element in the creation and implementation of the EO proposal for the Rio 2016 Games. In addition to their multi-singularities as subjects, other intervening variables influence the program: national policies, human resources, financing, the political scenario (macro and microeconomic) and the IOC guidelines themselves.
