Effects of Association of Exercise and Cigarette Smoke on Neurotrophic Factors and Synaptic Proteins in the Hippocampal Formation of Rat
Summary: Cigarette smoke exposure had been considered a widespread habit of society with high increased risk of neurological diseases and declining cognitive function. Additionally, the exercise can influence the expression of neurotrophic and synaptic proteins and promote maintenance of cognitive status. However, few studies have investigated the protective effect of exercise on the regulation of neurotrophic factors and synaptic proteins in hippocampal formation associated to cigarette smoke exhibition.
