Summary: This study aimed to profile (or profiles) of mountain practitioners, climbing mode, the state of Espirito Santo. In terms of methodology, we applied a questionnaire to members of the Capixaba Climbing Association (ACE), there were raids and ethnographic interviews with climbers tied to that institution. The dissertation presents a qualitative and quantitative analysis of data in order to map the practice sites, the level of education of climbers, time experience, the age of the practitioners, the motivations for involvement with the sport, its relations with the risk , among others. The results allow, from these criteria, sketch the profile (or profiles) of the climbers of the Holy Spirit bound to ACE .
